WHAT WENT DOWN VSU Ep1

Our very first Vault Sessions: Unplugged cracked open with pure magic. Cozy vibes, raw sounds, and no stage walls between guests and artistes — just humans connecting over music, stories, and a whole lot of heart.

Midsummer Theory
Kicking things off, our fresh-faced band Midsummer Theory stepped way out of their comfort zone — and straight into everyone’s hearts. From a humble school CCA to their very first live stage, they delivered a soulful, mesmerizing set that had even the scene veterans going, “Wait, who the heck are these kids?” Frontman Luqman Danish admitted he was shaking the whole way through, but nerves couldn’t hide the fact — he owned the room.

🔥 Iman (Iman’s League)
Next up — no introductions needed. One of the local underground’s pillars, Iman, showed us why he’s a legend. Armed with his brand-new solo acoustic album Midlife Tunes, he laid it all bare: midlife chaos, fatherhood blues, broken dreams… even the crisis of tearing apart your house just to find the damn TV remote. Equal parts raw, funny, and gut-punching honest, his songs left the room feeling everything all at once.

💫 Ahmadul Amin
Closing the night was none other than indie darling Ahmadul Amin. His voice? Smooth, melodic, and enough to make the ladies (and honestly, everyone else) melt. His track Definisi Bahagia had the whole room humming along, and his latest single Kita Jumpa Lagi is the kind of earworm you’ll want on repeat — go look it up if you haven’t already.

We wrapped things up with mingling, laughter, and a few numbers exchanged — juniors and seniors, legends and newcomers, all buzzing from the same love for music.

And guess what? This isn’t a one-off. Vault Sessions: Unplugged will now happen every month — a space for musicians to share, fans to connect, and everyone to remember why we keep coming back to the noise.
